    Bleh x-)
Ut2k3 doesnt 'need' to be pretty, DL a few tweaks for ur Ini and it can be as boring as UT is now.
I dont see how ut2k3 is sluggish? my mouse dont like UT 1 v.much and to me seems slow, strange eh?

    I haven't played UT, but I really like UT2003.
I'm not sure how UT2003 compares to Q3, I haven't played it in ages, but I like UT's double jumps, wall jumps, etc.
Maybe I should go back and try UT...

    That's how i see it
UT 1 was one of my all time faves.... but ut2k3 sorta pushed it out the way.... which is what sequels should do really.

I have never played Q3 so cannot sya UT2K3 is a rip off of that.

Personally i prefer UT2K3, mainly because of the hugely improved visuals. First next-gen game which made my jaw drop (Other than when i first saw sonic adventure 5 years ago on the DC)

UT is much much better for the single player "missions" though.

    Currently play instagib on UT2K3.

Dont play online much due to having dial-up. I am playing 11bots on adept at the mmoment. Still havn't won

    Keep practicing though.

shorty: seriously, try changing the fov through the little tab command line.. "fov 100" for example.

It really speeds it up no end, and make it feel more like classic UT
