Wii Priced (sort of)

Gamesradar are reporting that Nintendo have released pricing information.

No more than $250 (US) and 25,000yen(Japan) As yet no UK/Euro price yet That supports the low pricing thats already been hinted at and also peoples own idea of it coming in under £150.

If it's under £150 I'd imagine stores running out of stock within 1-2 days of release.
Primary kit:
Fuji S5 Pro - Nikkor AF 50/1.8 - Nikkor AF 85/1.8
Epson RD-1

Film Kit:
Leica M3 - Summicron 50/2 DR - Zeiss ZM 25/2.8 - M-Rokkor 40/2

Olympus OM2n - Zuiko 50/2 Macro - Zuiko 50/1.4 - Zuiko 35/2.8

Aii that would indeed be the case.

I would have said around £170 - £199 over here just a guess though ofc

Pre-launch buzz, thats funny Sega just released it with virtually no press. There wasn't a rush at all, didn't help with the £400 price tag though.

I disagree with that, its was a terrible launch, hence why MS dropped the price after 5 weeks. At which point i bought one.

The thing they both had in common was no sell out. You could walk into most shops and just buy one off the shelf. I don't think that will happen with Wii (or the PS3 at its price)

let's be fair, it had roughly 4 seconds of pre-launch buzz - the gap between "it's being released" and "right now" at e3!

I'd go with £149.99 as a likely UK startpoint or possibly slightly higher due to VAT + British adjustment
AMD3000+ ATIX800XL + GBNF44x mobo.. all at stock because they're good enough atm + CA A1 amp-->Mission 73S Loigtech MX1000 + 1GB ram + 1/3 TB HD array
Wintendo XP + Linux (when it works) .. just incase you were wondering
