It sure does have a bit of lag, but the first part looked as if he was controlling, but just after half way through, he pulls the joypad up in an attempt to make the plane point up, but nothing happens on the screen. Following that, repeated attempts fail as well. Hmmmmmm................

But anyway, is the motion sensing actually being innovative in a game like this? It's cack compared to the offering from Nintendo.

the same way the people in http://youtube.com/watch?v=73yDRm8KaWY do?

the whole bloody *point* of the machine is that it's for casual gamers, from the comapny that sold several million nintendo DSes to twentysomething women and fiftysomething businessmen

"The Nintendo Wii uses motion tracking technology. Basically, the Wii comes with two sensors that you place on either side of your console. The Wii controller has a beacon in it that allows these sensors to track the movement of the controller in real-time, 4D space. So if you swing the controller like a bat, the baseball player on screen swings."

Not only have nintendo caused massive upheaval to the couch-gamer society, they've broken into the fabled 4th dimension, where demons and arch-angels await

Tbh the Wii controller is what Console FPS players have been crying out for. Looks like yet another nintendo console for me over the alternatives

Actually, you have a point there. I didn't really think about the possibilities for FPS games. I suppose it's a great substitue for a mouse. Great!!! Hilarious signature image btw.

Hmnmm...after seeing that clip. I'm not so sure about the practicality in terms of comfort. I agree that the idea is very innovative, but I'd guess that it could be quite tiresome after a while. Lol, could possibly see Wii's being installed in Gyms to strengthen your arms. Heehee.
