Talking Xbox 360 but what games??

    Hey All,

Last month i treated myself to a new xbox 360 which came with no hard drive and Ghost Recon advanced warfighter, this month i got myself dead or alive 4 and the 20gb hard drive and a Xbox Live gold membership.

Does anyone who has maybe been playing Xbox's since thhey came out have any recomendations as to games, iam willing to give anything a go to be honest but a good shoot em' up or war game is always good.

    Cheers
    Drobbins

I played PGR3 for months on end, it's brilliant!

Top Spin 2 is great fun on Live, and Table Tennis is said to be even better.

Kameo is really fun if you like platform games.

I'm a racing and shooter dude, but tried table tennis yesterday.

Game is simply stunning - don't think I've ever had as much as fun on a game in my life.

8 player game - with ya mates, nothing can beat it. Such a frigging laugh, for £25, amazing.

    Reccomended beyond words!

I was sitting on the fence in regards to Table Tennis, but I think you just sold it to me.

In terms of single, multi and online play Burnout Revenge is probably the strongest game on the system at the moment. Its a blast.

Don't forget the Live Arcade as well. Marble Blast Ultra is great, as is Mutant Storm Reloaded, Smash TV, and even Uno.

Oblivion is class as well, if you like that sort of thing, and Battlefield is perfect for online play.

Gotham is great, but it wont last you as long as Burnout; both are better than Need for Speed.

Look out for Street Fighter II on the Live Arcade soon, do get Table Tennis because its great for £25, and erm... thats it.

EDIT - Tomb Raider Legend is worth a rental or a borrow, good little game, not worth buying it though, 6-7 hours tops.

    Games games games

I've joined one of those game rental sites and played a fair few games on the 360.

    Personally a big fan of

    Hitman 47
    GRAW
    PGR3

Oblivion is pretty good if you like that sort of thing (collecting the sacred anorak et.c.)

    Kameo is fun
Call of Duty is excellent, but identical to PC version
ditto Far Cry instincts - great but same as old Xbox version
Condemned is OK, but gets a little tedious
Perfect Dark Zero is pretty decent
Tomb Raider - good graphics, not enough puzzles
