Exclamation Ever had one of those nights ...

.....where you can't hit a barn door with a banjo no matter how hard you try ?!

Just been playing F.E.A.R and for some bizarre reason I just keep getting killed within minutes of starting on the single player campaign !

It doesn't end there either !

Decided to play Guild Wars for a little while and I kept clicking on the floor to move instead of clicking an enemy to attack it !

Just don't know whats up with me, I can play games even when I am half cut normally !

I can't be the only one that this happens to occasionally.

Must be one of those nights !!!

I never play CSS, never been into it. I go for single player on FPS and other than that I like my fantasy RPG's !

I must be really mentally tired, I feel like my mind is drifting !

At least there were no comical mistakes, I just couldn't hit anything !

Doesn't happen to me with single player FPS missions, but MP's like CSS, I can go through completely awful patches .
Best to get rested, go back to it later, and thrash that AI.

Although I'm mostly godlike on CS (), there are times when I get rubber bullet syndrome.

When I used to be in a clan, I was quite good at shooting players on my own side

I have night's myself where I play like Pands and cannot hit a barn door with a banjo if I was sitting on top of it.

    What do I do?

Nothing, I just finish the round and then log off and then go and relax.

No point raising your stress levels higher and then playing even worse than the start, thus making the cycle complete and the more you think about it, the worse and more angry you'll get

Go watch a film, play on a console, watch TV or go relax in the garden

well, something like that happens to everyone ferral, don't be worried

when I used to play UT i was pretty good at instagib matches, but sometimes it just didn't work out, most of the time I just wasn't able to hit my target, no matter how exactly I aimed at him...
well, that's the time when you should take a break for a while

Not exactly FPS related but i have the same sort of issues in Toca RD3 when one night I can absolutely fly round the track following the racing lines perfectly and the next night i just spin off at every single corner
