    Sensible Soccer demo

Anyone downloaded and played this yet? Stumbled across the codemasters website before and it looks like it should be good ol' sensie action, one review ive seen gives it 9/10. Full retail version is out next week and looks like its going to be under £20 so seems perfect price wise, havent got time now but ill be having a play with the demo later be intersting to see what people think.

It's good to prove that remakes of classics don't have to be dreadful

    Hmmm, I dunno.

I've awaited this demo with more excitement than is generally normal for a 30 year old awaiting a download without nudity in it, but as I say... I dunno.

I know it's a demo and all but I imagine it's pretty representative of the finished article considering it's released in a few days. The playability is better than I dare imagined but after a game or two, as they say round these parts, "ma heid's pure spinnin"

It feels as if I'm getting motion sickness. I've tried arsing about with settings and resolutions to no avail. Surely I'm not the only one ?

I imagine I'll still be playing it this time tomorrow, or til I black out, whatever comes first. Hopefully I can get used to it because it plays so well.

£15 ?! Oh come on, that's just silly. For only £25 more you could get a copy of FIFA And if you do...

have a look for euro gamer sorry dont have the link to hand but i downloaded it of them using bit torrent. ive played it now and i cant make my mind up, graphics are ok but no better surley they could have added more than minimal shading. sound in game i.e crowd is poor as there is no commentary it would have been nice to have a really OTT crowd or maybe even some more music of some description. Ive not had a look at the teams yet so im not sure if the teams had stars players like they did back on dare i say it the SNES version. Im just wondering if they havent added enuff bells and whistles to it. Ive only played 3 games and its not expensive at all so i might get it but its an ummmm and an ahhh rather than definate for me at the moment.

to me the graphics and sound are fine, I dont want sensi to have excessively over done graphics. And music and/or commentary during matches! Never!!!

I really like the demo anyway, have ordered the game from play.com

    WOOOOOHOOOO

this was my favorite Megadrive game, I remember me and a mate changed the names and shirts of every single club team to the correct and up to date ones, and then the memory reset a few weeks later and lost everything

    Definate purchase here

    what fantastic timing

Commentray i can live without but in previous versions it used to have a tune going on throught the match and when you got into the last 3rd the volume of the crowd would increase. Now it doesent and it just seems a bit flat.....

Nothing worse than having a commentary on footie games, they always have been, and always will be, absolute rubbish.

Just stick with the funky music and crowd cheers please, besides , sensi is too fast paced for a commentary to ever work, especially when you've passed the ball around your entire team in a few seconds !
