will this ever be released? It would really appeal to pc gamers.

I'd think so. And maybe wireless too![]()
Being a long term PC FPS gamer since '96 and having used the SmartJoy FRAG, it's the only way to go.
One of my housemates could not go up any more levels in Halo online until I suggested he get this. Later he discovered a lot of the people he was playing against were using it.

I think it's pretty crap not to have a keyboard and mouse as standard. It's the only precision combo and has yet to be beat. PS3 will support this as standard which makes it attractive. Another option is MS releasing a patch which allows kb and mouse combos via USB.
Out of interest, has anyone tried a normal USB keyboard on the 360?
That would be interesting. I'll give it a try and if it blows up will you but me a new one?Originally Posted by JOEJOETHEJOEY

Normal usb keyboards work fine for some text entry, for example in ffXI.
Not around too often!
it would be sweet, i cant afford the next DX10 pc upgrade, so have been toying with the 360 route but HATE console controllers
I wonder whats the point of having a console now a days they are basically pc's for beginners - u can do most of the same stuff but without all the techie problems u might encounter
I wish they'd release one for the 360 and xbox that can use USB keyboards and mice
Anyone know of a half decent thungamagig mouse (ya know, the old connectors, I forget the name PS/2 or something) I could use with a smartjoy frag?
People who winge about keyboard and mouse not being availbe for consoles are just idiots, how precise is using a keyboard and mouse rested on your lap? Consoles are for use in your living room on a big tv sat in a big comfy armchair, not sat at a desk looking at a PC montior and using keyboard and mouse!
