    Depends what you want.

    • Need For Speed:Underground 2 is very arcadey
    • TOCA Race Driver 3 is more realistic
    • GTR (and soon GTR2) and Live For Speed are relatively authentic race driving simulators.

GT Legends is good. Great sounds and nitty gritty. Graphics are great too!

A few of my friends play an online game called LiveForSpeed, made by an indie developer.

Costs £24 but apparently it's well worth it! Plus you can download the demo from their website.

Live For Speed is great, and I've recently found out about rFactor (www.rfactor.net). It's in the same vein as Live For Speed, but has a much more indepth single player mode. It's really fun, and well worth the license fee.

go get the live for speed demo NOW. preferrably after getting a logitech wheel )driving force pro 4 me), after a few weeks of getting to grips witht the 3 cars available you NEED to get the full version.

i thik its mainly because a lot of servers make you choose the same car, with only the setting up to differentiate. but MY GOD does that lead to some fantastic races.

Yeah, you really need a wheel if you're into sims. LFS is great, I got hooked after playing the demo for 5 mins.

Test Drive Unlimited isn't even of the Need for Speed genre. Isn't developed by EA either..

Another vote for GT Legends here. Less overwhelming than GTR, more of a game too. Still amazing physics and fun cars.
Tough on mirrors, tough on the causes of mirrors.
