I've had a read at past threads about Need for Speed Most Wanted and opinion seems a bit mixed.
Amazon now have it for a piddly £9.97 so I was thinking it might be worth it at that price.
Any opinions ?
Ta much !

I enjoyed it, its simply quite fun to play. You don't have to think to much about it. Only downside is that some of the police chases that you have to do can be a little tedious later in the blacklist. It is damned addictive though, I kept going back to it till I completed the game outright.
It needs better racing wheel support but otherwise its a good game![]()

Yup, good game. And with some effects even looks nice at low res with a cheap card (using an X300 on my TV).
When will they start supporting widescreen on games! That's what I find irritating
Definitely, especially if you can get it for £10.
There is the odd few dislikes in the game, but in general it is a very enjoyable game.
Oooooooor get GTR from gamestation for £4.99![]()
GTR £4.99... is a must get instead..
But NFS:MW is a pretty fun game for ppl who don't really care about how a car drives..
and don't mind cheating AI..
Me want Ultrabook
I've always wanted NFSMW, and I think at that price I might just have to get it. Gamestation sells it for £25 second hand the last time I checked.
GT legends is only 10 quid at play now as well, I think.
NFS:MW is a great laugh. Police chases are the best bit. Would be nice if it was realistic, but the game as a whole works well, and you can do up the cars without making them look disgustingly vulgar.
Rack, you can get an unofficial patch for widescreen. I think I saw it on fileplanet. Otherwise look for some of the nfs fansites.
That was birmingham new streets price (GTR), I assume it's the same nationally
Brilliant game...'cept too easy to spin in a straight line![]()
If it was realistic.. you'd be counting the folds of metal on ur bonnet when ur hit a lamp post within 4 streets of traffic driving at best.... perhaps less![]()
Me want Ultrabook
gtr and nfs will never be compaprable. having said that i enjoyed nfs:u and nfs:u2 in a weird kind of way. as long as you dont think of it as anything other than an arcade thrash about its fine.
