is this and good.. reviews I've seen slate it (4/10 etc)
I had a go of the demo the other day and I hated it. Really nothing going for it apart from walking and shooting.Originally Posted by CocoPops

However since then I've read a few articles stating that the game really comes alive in online play. According to Mr Nelson, Chromehounds is the 3rd most popular Live game on the 360 so it must be doing something right.
I didn't think the demo was that good, it definitely didn't seem to be worth £40.
I might pick it up if I see it on offer somewhere, but other than that I can't see me getting it.

I've got a review ready to publish tomorrow. Online is superb, the demo wasn't much cop. It's pretty in depth but I'd recommend it. It's not a pick up and play game, you need to invest some time in it.
I played for 2 hours last night and only played in three matches online. There's a lot of tactical talk in the lobbies, but I suppose it depends on who you play with.

A multiplayer demo might be needed to change a lot of peoples opinions on this game.
The single player demo really was very tame.
IF I had gotten the demo before pre-ordering it, I would have saved 40 quid...at least this teaches me to download firstI was really looking forward to this but I still can't get into it properly. The singleplayer feels very....rigid and meh. Mechwarrior was SO much better....Since MS bought the Mechwarrior license (for the world etc..) you'd they'd it well eh?
I guess I'll try it again later..I however do 'enjoy' the hound building bit, probably the only incentive to play!
