Best looking next gen console

Just a bit of fun really, not intending to spark any fanboy nonsense. Which next gen console do you prefer the looks of?

In general Sony, Nintendo and Microsoft seem to have have put more effort into designing their dream machines this time around. This issue is becoming increasingly important with stlye concious people wanting something to look good next/under to their flat panel tv.

Last 'round' Sony and Microsoft both seemed to have taken a 1980's vcr and done their best to make it look even worse . The non cubic game cube on the other hand looked really cool

I think all 3 console look decent this time around, especially the Wii. Bring on the motion sensitive banjo

Looks arent everything of course. The Dreamcast may have looked like a Breville pie magic (an outstanding invention if ever there was one) but the games were stunningl

I like both the 360 and Wii looks to be honest, ignoring any fanboy nonsense or the actual systems themselves.

I don't like the look of the PS3, but the 360 looks very modern..like it deserves to be there under your TV.

The Wii has to take it though - small, slick, can go anywhere and still look cool tbh..Both the 360 and PS3 are too big imho

PS3 looks good in black, bad in silver. The 360 looked quite good in pics, but I had a poke at one and it felt flimsy and cheap.

I'm not a fan of Nintendo is general but the Wii is by far the most aesthetically pleasing. It's small and looks great.

The other two are blandly inoffensive but are a little on the large side.

I think the Wii and 360 are by far the best looking. The Wii is so small and sleek it's almost cute!
The 360 looks awesome too, but I happen to have one alongside my plasma screen so I'm slightly biassed.
The PS3 is for me the ugliest of the three, ever since I saw the picture of the 'PS3 Grill' I haven't been able to shake it from my memory. Here's a reminder for those who haven't seen it:

The PS3 and Wii are by far the best looking, Wii edges it but the x360 just hasnt got it. The PS3 has extremely defined lines and looks sharp, much more in keeping with the future trends of high gloss finish and clean lines in furniture and electronics goods. The x360 will look out of place with most peoples kit which tends to be black or silver and minimalist, x360 has to many fiddly details on the front. Suppose its jus me showin my age

This poll has been done before a few times now, i did the first one a year or so ago HERE (got a mention on the Hexus front page ).

But it will be interesting to see the outcome again, now that Xbox360 and the designs for the others have been out for some time and they have had time to 'grow' on people (or for people to get bored with them already).

It's difficult though. A year ago none of them were out and i did not like the look of the Xbox360 then. However, in the flesh it's much nicer. I suspect peoples views of the Wii and PS3 will change a lot when they are out. That said, I still like the simple non-nonsence desgin of the Wii. I just hope it's not as plasticy and toyish feeling as the GameCube is in the flesh (IMO).

I think the GC looked good because it wasnt trying to look like a piece of high end hifi kit, it just looked like a fun system.

I like the look of the PS3 alot, but i also like the look of the 360. I dont like the look of the Wii, it just looks like a DVD drive.

The Wii looks awesome imo - great simple elegent and small size makes it ideal for the modern digital home

I like the look of the 360 too but the Wii gets the nod from me overall
