Also can anyone confirm its definitely available as opposed to a pre-load, as the retail game doesnt seem to be out until Sep.

It's definitely available and playable via steam.
Hexus did a review too, looks good... think I'll wait till it is discounted though.
Just the found Hexus review (why don't they link game reviews on the main Hexus page???)
Quite a different conclusion in the review compared to the (overly?) effusive TrustedReviews review of this game.
Hmmm...I think I'll wait for some more user opinions as the last game I bought off steam (Sin Episodes) was a POS.
To be honest, after played it quite extensively for three days after the review, I've now lost complete interest in the game. It's alright for the money but the servers are already slowing down.

PCGamer give it 61%. Will have a read now and let you know, was tempted myself earlier.
Tough on mirrors, tough on the causes of mirrors.
Ok, here's a quick summary of PCGamers review:
After the first target is killed everyone else has just 90 seconds to kill theirs. Since some people spawn next to their targets the whole round can turn into a frantic 90s dash.
Scoring system is flawed - you gain more points by killing with least used weapons - these keep changing all the time so its more due to luck (which kinda sucks).
Security systems can be inconsistent and sometimes too severe.
The needs system (food, sleep, etc) takes a lot of time and is made worse by slow movement speed. So if you go to have a meal at the restaurant you may then need to have a nap and will be too far from your cabin to make it back on time. Cue blackout and death.
Some good things too, not knowing who your attacker is can be pretty tense... But it seems like execution is flawed.
Tough on mirrors, tough on the causes of mirrors.
Hmmmm...maybe this should have been a £9.99 game rather than a £20 jobbie?
It's $20~£11
Tough on mirrors, tough on the causes of mirrors.
+ $3.49 UK taxes = about £12.50
Not too bad I suppose.
