Not true. Play and Amazon were taking pre orders for non HD PS3s a wee while ago.

There's no such thing as a non-HDD PS3 it's either 20GB or 60GB.Originally Posted by Bluecube

What on earth are you talking about?
NES, SNES, N64, GameCube, Wii, GBA, DS, PSone, PS2, PSP, PS3 60gb, XBOX, XBOX 360, Master System, Game Gear, Mega Drive, Saturn, Dreamcast, PC Engine, Neo Geo CD
Lets not spout any more untrue rumours to confuse the issue..
There are 2 PS3 SKU's:
1: 20GiB HDD, no 802.11, No Multi Card Slots, No HDMI.
2: 60GB HDD, 802.11G, Multi-Card Slot, HDMI.
The UK market will probably not be getting the 20GiB SKU at launch, but at a later date, probably 2007, although this is yet to be confirmed by Sony.
This is very well known now.

Duh, sorry folks. Was getting mixed up with the 360. All these options across the PS3 and 360 are confusing me!

Especially given that the dev kits cost €25,000 each and you have to go through a rigorous vetting process to get one, let alone 4..
A single €25,000 dev kit is utter overkill for homebrew, let alone 4..
