Talking Yay, got me a PSP at last. So...

...whats hot? I got it at the bargin price of £180 for a new giga pack with second hand copies of Pro Evo, Colin Mcrae and for some reason Roco Loco, which is suprisingly good fun.

What else is worth getting? Is there any C&C type games worth a look?

Apart from that, what else should i do with it? Any good tips for a new PSP owner?

Some people would say: check the firmware release and see whats about on the homegrown or emulator side

bit of a thread steal here but...

I got one too a couple of days ago, locoroco is awesome fun, just ordered gta:lcs off ebay for some homebrewing fun (well hopefully!) but I was wondering what other games are any good, Tekken seems to have gotten good reviews, and i was wondering if anyone had played Worms on it - and if thats any good?

Tekken on the psp is awesome. So impressed with that game, graphics wise. It's just a shame that the d-pad/analog stick is so unresponsive.

If you're into football management sims... you can't go wrong with Football Manager handheld. I find it a great time killer when i've got 20 minutes or so to waste away

20 minutes? Every time I play it, hours just disappear from my life. I am an FM addict though.

The closest thing to a C&C type game at the moment is Field Commander, it's not real-time, but turn based. It's surprisingly good fun though, and got some good reviews.

My favourite games so far are Burnout and Loco Roco. Great games Also, the updated firmwares have some cool features Go here to get the latest update if you wish. (you won't be able to use homebrew however with the latest update)

Unless you get something like a GB2X for homebrew/emultator software - as well as the psp (Which I'm seriously being talked into)

Yeah, im not interested in homebrew, Loco Roco wont run unless you have 2.60 (unless there is a way around it). I have looked at some homebrew, but there is nothing i am really interested in (well at least nothing i would really use much anyway), i have a PDA that can do virually everything that been 'brewed' for the PSP.

So far i am loving Colin Mcrae and Loco Roco, not even tried Pro Evo yet! Although i would love to get Burnout - anyone seen it cheap anywhere?

Yeah same with me. 2.8 added a cool feature for video file names and the folder that they are stored in.
