Could do with a copy of the rules. I quickly lost the 2000. And there seems no apparent way to 'restart' or get it back...

Check out google for Texas hold em rules. It's the same game across the world.

There is a list of hand rankings in the menu somewhere, might be worth printing one off if you're not sure.

Apologies for the super bumpage going on here but thought I'd point out that there's been an update released for this title.

Details on what the update offers can be found here: http://www.xboxic.com/news/2058

The key feature in the update for me is the auto boot mode. If a player folds due to running out of time 3 times in a row, he's gone. I've started to play multiplayer again and it's really enjoyable. A further update bringing Live Vision (camera) support to the game will be coming in early 2007.

Another useful new feature is being able to post the blind straight away and join in the game with the next hand.

I'll have to start playing this again on Live, but before I always remember having to wait up to 6 hands or so on a busy table to start playing - until the blind came around.

Been playing for yonks on PokerRoom.com - the best online Poker room in my opinion.

Vini - As for the rules, a monkey could learn it.

You get two cards (hole cards), then there's 3 community cards dealt (the flop), followed by a 4th (Turn) and a 5th (River), the aim is to make the best 5 card hand possible using a combination of your hole cards and the community cards.

    Hand rankings:

    High Card.
    Pair.
    Two Pair.
    Three of a Kind.
    Straight. (eg 4,5,6,7,8 unsuited)
Flush. (5 of any one suit)
Full House (eg 3 Aces and 2 Sevens is a Full House 'Aces full of Sevens')
    Four of a Kind.
Straight Flush. (7,8,9,T,J of any one suit)
Royal Flush (T,J,Q,K,A of any one suit)

Can you play no limit on the 360? No Limit Texas Hold Em - best game ev0r.

Bought this a while ago but didn't really get it back then. After watching Casino Royal I decided to boot it up again and I'm really enjoying it, all my housemates had a real game together a few hours ago and that was a blast, I managed to win 600 million, a cat and a mobile phone

Russ, on the 360 game it's just virtual money. The only real competitive aspect is that you have a bankroll that you keep with you. So you start out on the really small tables and if you keep winning your bankroll increases and you'll work your way up to the big tables.

I was playing on the $500,000 table yesterday, finished in third place and won me a nice $80,000 to add to my bankroll.
