all my female friends on MSN now want one of those
hehe the cynical amongst us might be tempted to point out how Sony is copying Nintendo again Nintendo have been releasing girly/cute coloured consoles alongside regular ones for years now..but still it's a good idea to lengthen the life of the PS2 I guess..
Indeed, but the truth is that both have been providing these version goods long since. Perhaps not released worldwide, but Japan by itself already have loads of these limited edition bits ages ago.. before Nintendo even released the GamecubeOriginally Posted by Spud1
Check the Japan versions for the original PS2, you'd be suprised to find there's the sakura chan's LE velvet pink version, midnight grey version, Special Ops army colours, Ceramic White LE versions and The very rare LE Ocean Blue version..
So no, I dont think Sony actually copied the idea, perhaps borrowed the fact that its beginning to go worldwide, but other than that.. its still pretty original..
Me want Ultrabook
Not really original - nintendo have been producing various colours of all their systems since at least as far back as the gameboy and N64 - granted the majority of these have been in Japan, but there have been worldwide releases for all consoles
In any case I was taking a cheap shot at Sony not intended to cause an argument or anything
Looks awful, never been a fan of pink, you may also like to note, I don't see pink as a girly colour, society says its girly but its not, I'd happily wear pink clothing etc. except I think the colour is nothing short of ghastly.
yeah, I don't really think it's that great an Idea, I mean, making it only pink, bringing it out this late (just before PS3). And yeah, I agree with BEANFro, pink just looks crap.
that DC actually looks better lol, the translucency works..like the translucent N64s when everyone decided to copy apples iMac colour schemes
ZOMG DC that rules!
I'd have to say that DC is pretty damn cool. At first glance I thought it was an N64
