There are so many threads floating around for this game, I thought I'd make a definitive one on the eve of the games release.

Who knows, if it goes well I might end up doing an 'Official Thread' for all the big name releases.

Anyhow, back to TDU. Apparantly they're running a referral program. You simply need to refer a friend to the game and you get two premium exclusive cars!

I've got it coming on PC as well, I reckon I'll prefer the PC version since I have a wheel, widescreen monitor (HOPES FOR WIDESCREEN SUPPORT!! UNLIKE XBOX may I add!) and an awesome computer .

I thought it was required for all xbox games to have widescreen support?

When I played it, it was in HD - so it was in widescreen

not 1680x1050 :S, widescreen support generally means all 16:9/16:10 aspect ratios :S

But HD is 16:9? I don't see a game that supports just 16:10 not being a widescreen compatible game myself...

I was really impressed with the short "Test Drive" (forgive the pun) I got to take in a retailer's store who had an Atari rep showing it off. Really looking foward to hearing what you all have to say when you get it. I'll definitly get it for PC (in the US) this fall if I think my computer can get beyond slide show to lagging streaming video quality.
