After leaving my job at GAME on saturday, i can tell you one thing - the PS2 has a higher failure rate on average over a 360. While this obviously wasnt true on launch, over the last few months, it certainly is (in our store atleast)

The Nintendo Cube.....now there is a machine i cant ever remember having to return once in my 3+ years there.

I got mine in around feb this year so I think mine might be from the second batch of consoles. The only problem I have had is during hot days (especially in summer) the console would crash. It doesnt have wonderful ventalation but its need to be where is it so i don't have to get out of my chair to change disks Also very rarely it makes a very loud sort of click or something when reading discs, but it doesnt bother me that much.

Had mine since launch day, no problems here. *touch wood*

You watch though, the 360 had problems at launch, the PS3 will have problems at launch and the Wii will be all honkey-dorey.

Got my first one on day of launch - had to get it replaced in March this year due to graphical glitches in games...

The US import 360 I have - no issues with so far thankfully (as I belive the US only have 90 day warranty on there consoles)

Before anyone asks I only got the import as a 2nd machine as I was offered it at a very low price, and also it means the Mrs can play the arcade games, whilst I still play TDU

I get freezing often in one game (probably a faulty disc, there are read errors) and my first 360 died altogether (3 red lights) and had to be replaced by ms. The hardware has inadequate cooling to say the least...

Had my since launch, only thing I've noticed is odd skipping of sound in Videos sometimes, but MS tech support told me it was my obivivion disc, which I swapped - and it was fine.

I sit mine on top of my Denon 5.1DD system which gets really hot, and I've never had it crash ever apart from when TDU decided it didn't like the Diners.

Never and mines had a damn battering recently.

Always on as a media extender and then at weekend it had a 6 hour bash of tiger woods and a 4 hour zombie mashing marathon.

Airflow around the system is not hindered by other electronic equipment or accessories
