Xbox 360 with 65nm process cpu.

I'm gagging to get a 360, but I'm holding out for the new cpu model. Anyone heard anything as to when it might be out?

Haven't heard about this in a while... From what I've read sometime in 2007.

When this happens, if the rumour regarding integrated HD-DVD is true, then I'd expect to see CPU fab process changed at same time possibly. Would make sense to do the full revamp at the same time.

MS have said many many many times that they have no plans to put the HD-DVD drive inside the machine when it ships.

Yeah, but how many times have companies said that and changed their minds? The only reason they're saying that now is that they want the 360's to continue to sell. If they made a statement now to say that in March 2007 all 360's would be built with a better CPU and a HDDVD to rival the PS3 sells would drop off now as people would wait until March.
