Not interested in the 360, should be getting a PS3, and maybe a Wii depending on the reviews.

currently i'd say the 360 has most of my attention - "blue dragon" really appeals, as does the thought of resident evil 5. assassin's creed on ps3 keeps me intrigued too.

on wii, i suppose i want zelda as much as the next man...

I was really underwhelmed by the 360. Might pick up a wii or PS3.

the problem about 360 is that it doesnt have one particular area which it does really well..

    1. Graphics are nice, but I already have a system that can do better.. and graphcis by itself is not enough to get me sold..
    2. Games for now, none of which I havent played before.. or have a plot worthy of praise.. PGR, all shines but it doesnt carry the aura of games like GT or the enthusiast-level of GTR.. Most of other parts of their release already have PC equivalent. (perhaps the only bit is Halo3..)
    3. Xbox-Live.. perhaps the only thing going for it.. but I really cant see the frequent use of it if you already have a capable PC or bunch of friends.. and I cant imagine myself buying anything off Xbox-Live unless really necc.
    4. Despite what otehrs say, I really think the Xbox360 looks rather ugly. Just as the original Xbox, I just couldnt get pass the idea of a milk white box as a console..

Just like the Xbox, its like a jack of all trades.. but none of its strength really shines..

I'm no MS hater here, I'm just speaking my mind..

The PS3 have no strengths either, but I guess the only thing they have is perhaps the aura of a past gaming hercules.

Depends if you like your tech exclusive and cutting edge. I wasn't much bothered about the PS1 or PS2 on launch. Most launch titles (for playstations) don't really express the power of the system, the PS3 sounds like its no different. Besides I never trust first run, my PS1 only worked upside down or on its side I learnt after that. I'll be more bothered in a year, besides some of the up coming PS2 titles look like they are worth holding onto SD tv for a short while longer.

Not really, the 360 has a good line up going for it -finally-, i'm looking at you, forza.

And xbox live is fantastic, for me it was the reason to buy a 360 following xbox 1. You meet looooads of fanastic people, never laughed so much as I have on live because of the fun you have.

Rather than jumping on a counter strike server...and immeditealy "ZOMG noob dfuse teh bOmb!111111".

I was really looking forward to the PS3 but that thought has subsided as time has gone by. I was eager to get one, but now I'll reconsider it around Christmas 07 depending on the price at that time.

I picked up an Xbox 360 on launch and it's such a fantastic piece of kit, I've been using it regularly ever since. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone. As MonkeyBum mentioned, Live is truly the icing on the cake. If you enjoy online play, Live is arguably the cream of the crop. That's coming from me and I used to be an avid online PC gamer for a good 10 years!

The Nintendo Wii has me really intrigued, it's managed to keep my interest ever since it was announced and I still can't wait to try it out.

The PS3 although interesting at first now doesn't seem to offer me much that my 360 didn't give me last year. Apart from the Blu Ray drive that is. Although I am interested in the HD-DVD and Blu Ray formats, I'm in no hurry to early adopt them and certainly not as part of a console. I've always preferred a stand alone player.

Once they release some great (exclusive) games I might think about it. But then thats the same with all consoles, I havn't bought a 360 till now cos none of the exclusive games warrented a buy untill now.

I hate to say it but I am actually looking forward to the PS3s release, I want to see what the real graphics look like... I can compare them with X360 first releases (take in mind that X360 releases were made in a shorter time span
    Core 2 Duo E6600 @ 3.2Ghz (400Mhzx8) 1.52V (set in bios, 1.47v real) | 4GB GeIL PC6400 4-4-4-12 | Gigabyte DQ6 @ 1600Mhz | HD2900XT 1GB | Enermax Infiniti 720W | Silverstone TJ07-B with custom watercooling | BenQ FP241WZ

A few weeks ago I would have said no, couldn't care less. I really am interested to see how Sony fare though, especially with the uprated and lower priced 20GB model. Their online model should be interesting, though it's not something i'd often use.. and I believe it's still supposed to run linux by default.
Apart from Neon the XB360 still has nothing that interests me, Virtua Tennis 3 and Gears of War are the only games so far that have caught my attention for the future, and Wii already has some interesting games lined up for launch.
It will be interesting to see who comes out ahead, regardless of who you 'support' .

I dont know.. X360 really didnt get me to that level yet.. for me its like a nice piece of hardware, but not something I cant go without..

Xbox Live!... I guess its purely subjective here. I can meet people everywhere else and they're all ace as well.

By the time the PS3 is out, the graphics will look dated.

Crossfire R600, at 1600x1200@85Hz with max AA/AF, for the win.
