    Question Nintendo Wii Advice..

    Hi guys,

Just seeking some advice on the Nintendo Wii. Been a long time since I have owned a console (PC gamer by nature), but thought one would be great for me and the missus Loved the look of some of the games, just something you don't get on the PC.

Anyway, my question is, I have ordered the Wii and an extra controller ("Remote control") - but do you think I will need an extra Nunchuck? Should I order one of those too?

And; what game(s) should I order with it? I've never played Zelda (when it first came out I was too into Final Fantasy and other RPGs, so dismissed it) but it does look good. Also like the look of the racing game where you are able to do jumps to skip parts of the track using some kind of turbo, but I have no idea what it is called and can't seem to see it on play.com

Cheers for the advice guys, I haven't been following the Wii but after seeing a programme about it today I can't wait to get one

edit: Actually have another quick question; is it worth getting "Wii Play (mini games)" instead of the extra remote, as it comes with one and is only £10 more ... hmm.
edit (again): Disregard above, I changed my remote order to Wii Play, figured it was worth an extra tenner to get some mini games too , also added a Nunchuck since they're only £15

i too am interested in buying a wii but maybe not at launch because if i pre order it now, am i guarateed one from play.com or gameplay? I doubt it because we may have a similar situation that we had when the 360 came out. It was sold out from day 1!

Another question is......Is zelda and the mario game a launch title for the wii?

they're sold separately, so if the games require it, then yes, you'd need a second nunchuck for 2-player

    you're thinking of "excite truck" - http://www.amazon.co.uk/Nintendo-Exc.../dp/B000FNKQH4

almost every console launch in history has been a sell-out. however, word is that stocks of the wii are massive, so you ought to be able to pre-order

Another question is......Is zelda and the mario game a launch title for the wii?
    zelda yes, mario no
