    PC upgrade or 360 !?!

    suggestions please

agp 7600gt for my pc or xbox 360? Considering prices 7600gt would cost £130 and xbox nearer £300.

    Thanks

Firstly a 7900GS makes a lot more sense for £130, secondly it depends what you'll play on most. If there are pc games you want to play atm and you prefer that platform, upgrade your pc. Same for the xbox360.
It's not a question anyone can answer for you .

save up all your money and buy the refresh dx10 gfx card (for nvidia it will most likely be called 8900gtx) because it will pwn the 360 - and you will want it soooo bad when crysis and alan wake show up on the PC and nothing else

Depends what you want either the PC or the Xbox 360 for...

Is there a game you've got your eye on? If so, is it on PC or Xbox 360?

Sure, if you have MCE 2005 and a freeview TV card you can stream TV through the Xbox 360, so that's a bonus, but, and I'm being an honest Xbox 360 owner, though there's lots of good games on the console, there's yet to be a KILLER must-have game for it...

SO the choice is yours... faster PC gaming or Xbox 360 media streaming and gaming...

alan wake is coming out on the 360.

i think the best advice is speedo's look at the games and see which has the most over the next year that inspires you

gears of war looks promising too.. but yea, it really depends where u spend ur time.. and how much are you realistically willing to spend. Like me, I can easily fund myself £500 for an X360 + games but I wont.. as I know it'll just turn out to be £500 of dust collector.
    Me want Ultrabook

though saying that the spec for alan wake is ridiculously high in comparisonto my pc spec,

As well as needing vista to run it as it isn't supported on any platform other than xbox 360 and vista

you can buy graphics cards now tha "pwn" the 360 i wouldnt EVER waste my money on a console ever again. and i hardly think dx10 cards this side of xmas are going to be worth a wink tbh.

please dont buy a 7600 gt get the 7900 gs as said so much better. and dont buy an xbox lol.

I was thinking the exact same thing last November, PC upgrade or 360.

I chose 360 and I can honestly say I've never looked back, what a fantastic piece of kit it really is.

I have a 360 but If I was you I'd go for a PC upgrade.

I agree with Nick, no real killer title for the 360 (although GRAW is pretty hot). I haven't seen anything recently that has grabbed me on the 360.

Certainly for £150 the new grph card will see you through until the PS3 launch and then you can see at that point (Wii will also be around obvioulsy)which console to pin your colours to.
