Gadget Show PS3 look

I dont know if thios has been up previously but it was just said on the gadget show shown on channel 5 has a look into tjhe ps3 on thier website http://gadgetshow.five.tv/index.htm

However probably due to loads of people looking on it now it seems to be down but hopefully up soon.

pah, in my office I saw a PS3 about 2 months ago.

I hate the Gadget show, its such a poor attempt at what consumer gadget shows should be.

It's not that bad, it's dumbed down sure, but you would never get anyone talking about pixel shaders on prime time TV. Could be better, but I find it entertaining enough.

It would take a lot for ps3 to impress me, I hated the first two consols. Much more of an xbox man myself. Never really got into ps. Dunno why everyone else did lol.

anyway, i really don't like the gadget show sometimes, I think they're trying to be the top gear of electronics except nowhere near funny or know what they're on about...

hmm.. considering the xbox didnt come out until after the PS2 you must have spent a great deal of time sitting in front of a tv showing static.

Not sure The Gadget Show is bad, I enjoy because it skips the mega geeky stuff and just looks at the broader picture. After all TV about graphics cards would be pretty dull, and no one can make a good video games show apart from GamesMaster.

I dont have any consol anymore. Never really got into playing them loads so sold it.

I record the Gadget show (because 80% of it is crap) but I saw the PS3 bit and it's was (frankly) GUSHING about how great it was etc. The article online is completely different (same presenter) - interesting! It looked good but (again) the games showed could well of been running on a '360 and tbh the inventiveness of the Wii on last weeks show struck me as far more interesting.

Why are you posting in a thread about consoles? lol! It just looks like you came in here to start an argument!?

Review isn't that great, but tbh there still isn't much to go by. I think a lot of people are backing the little guy (nintendo) - but I'm very tempted by the thought of a much more interactive and social type of gaming.

But with a HDTV, it would have been good if it had that capability. Will still wait until the PS3 is cheap before I decide - PC will do until then.
