Anyone else think that there are just TOO many games coming out now?

There are just so many good games coming along for the runup for xmas. First, the 360 got it's first batch of really good games worth buying the console for IMO (Dead Rising, Saints row and a few others) and a few more coming soon (like Gears of War). I just couldn't resist the 360 any longer so had to buy one.

There are also some really great games recently released and coming soon. Company of Heroes is an awesome game, and then soon there will be Dark Messiah of Might and Magic which, from the demo, is gonna be awesome, Neverwinter Nights 2, Medieval II: Total War and Warhammer Mark of Chaos to name a few of the ones I'm most interested in.

Problem is, they're also releasing pretty good collectors edition stuff, which game seems to have the UK online exclusives for pretty much all of them (and if you don't know, game are expensive for collectors edition stuff).

Spose this time of year is a double edged sword, Theres no shortage of good releases, but theres just too many to shake a stick at

So what games are all you lot looking forward to right now.

EDIT: Oh yeah, forgot about the release of the Wii as well I won't be getting it right now personally but I hope to if it turns out well.

I've managed to toast a Raptor and a SLi-D in the space of a week. So mines been getting caned too

Ouchies, thats gotta hurt. Me <3 my raptor. Just had to clear a ton of space after I discovered Dark Messiah is 10Gb(!!!!)

your right there are too many good games coming out. i had to cancel some of my pre orders has i have over 10 games pre ordered!

i got a 360 and will be getting pes6 and gears of war for this year.

Then next year its a different story with games like alan wake, forze 2, lost planet all coming out

Yes, yes & yes. I can't keep up with the never ending amount of games the 360 is throwing at me. I spent 2 hours today downloading 4GB's worth of demos of the live service and giving them a whirl to see if they were worth buying.

Then the PS3 comes along.......

no such thing as too many, they wont dissappear so you can always leave em till there is a dry spell. actually i dont think theres enough games coming out myself.. not the ones im waiting for anyway

I'm still trying to plow through the games I've got, almost finished Titan Quest and then I've got Rise of Legends, Quake 4 and Serious Sam 2 to get through. I've also got to try and finish N3, King Kong and Oblivion on the 360. That's without all the games I bought on offer which I haven't had a chance to start yet on the GC and PS2 - where does all the time go?

What a great thing to complain about, don't you think?
So far about that toasted raptor? Mine just arrived today, should I be concerned? Haven't installed it though.
