    BF2 and morons

    Usually this wouldn't bug me, but it did so i'm inflicting my rant on you.

    So I'm playing wake island, me and some german kid are gunner and pilot in the chopper and are a good 40 points clear of everyone else after 10 minutes. Get shot down by the J10, not much you can do against it's gun, so back to the pad we go. No-one else there, repeat the process continue the ownage.

    But oh no, it cant be that simple in BF2. As we're waiting diligently for the the chopper to respawn, our trademark moron joins the server and joins us on the pad. Despite at the very moment a server message reminding people that 2 on the pad is enough.

    He's hammering away at his E key obviously and gets the pilot seat, the guy who was flying gives up wanders off, I take up my gunner seat, but heres the great bit. Our moron decides he's to good for a gunner. instead of flying toward the island, he turns around and uses the edge of the map to kill me. Then when he finally decides to go and try to kill something, he does nothing other than fly clean into the carrier, trying to show off, by flying between the pylons.

    Best bit is, he's there again as soon as he spawns, this time firing missiles at at anyone who comes near the pad. Tries to fly without a gunner again and is promptly diposed of by the enemy chopper and it's gunners trusty TV missile.

    On his third reptition of this punk buster disagreed with me telling him what i thought of him

    No-one is good enough a pilot to kill the gunner and expect to do well in a chopper. Without the TV missile the chopper is a sitting duck.

    and for gods sake;

    The first two on the pad get the chopper

    The first man on the runway gets the plane

    Try playing the bloody game instead of spending your entire jumping around on the runway with all the other morons. Have some manners, wait your turn and dont whore yourself into one vehicle constantly.

    </rant>

    In an attempt to make this a discussion not a tirade, tell me your biggest gaming morons.

    Love that guide, and unfortuneately it's been true all the way from day one.

    You do get some exellent servers where people do wait in line and actually use teamwork, but on public ranked servers this is very rare.

    Yeah BF2 tends to be a game of extremes, when it's good it's damn good, but the when it's not

    that BF2 guide should be played aloud constantly on all servers.

    depends which server you play on.

    If you are playing on a public, ranked server you just simple won't get much in the way of teamwork - and to be honest I think thats fine.

    I play BF2 for fun and spend most of my time as a 'lone wolf' either sniping or flying jets. There is always a scramble to get the jet when it spawns, and im never guarenteed to get in one...theres normally 2 or 3 of us sitting there hammering the E button and its pot luck who gets the seat - and this is the way it should be imho.

    In organised games its a different matter of course...or if in your situation there is a server rule telling you so, but in normal, free for all public? first come first served, even if the person who gets the chopper/jet is a retard.

    i dont suppose anyone could save that page about the bf2 guide and post it somewhere else, as websense at work says that it wont display the website because if contains adult content!

    Its like being in a concentration camp here, luckily hexus has yet to be added to the banned list!
    Well, I can cut it in half!
