This any good? Going to get it to play LO-MAC (hopefully, if I can't run that then BF1942 planes / IL-2:FB).
If it's good, consider it bought

Looks cool, and my original Cyborg joystick is great! I say get it!
The Caped Crusader :-)
best thing about that OVER the Cyborg 3d Platinum/Gold that we all fly with is the throttle at the back.....much better...under your thumb...gives your fingers more room to hit buttons at the front edge.
Get it

I'd stick to MS or Logitech!

Logitech make nice sticks but imho their build quality isn't great. Not certain about Logitech warranty but Saitek has 2 year guarantee.

Is there a technical term for the centred stick wobbling around?
Yeah I have to agree.
A few years ago, Saitek did make some decidedly dodgy stuff, but they were trying to innovate and that always brings problems.
The kit they have nowadays is simply superb and excellent value for money.
Sure, the Hotas Cougar is the stick if you've got cash to burn, but even a stick with a £200 price tag doesn't pack in as many features as an X45 throttle and stick combo at around £60 or even less.
/me pats cyborg 3d gold
Lovely stick, excellent build quality, never had a problem with it.
Saitek are amongst the most well respected brands for flight sim controllers, and they have been for years! The X.45 is considered pretty much the top stick other than spending several hundred on a HOTAS Cougar (Basically a proper F16 flight controller)..
Caged, there is a very slight wobble of about 1mm when it's centered, but that's taken care of in software with the programmable dead zone
I think the technical term is "play"
(\__/)
(='.'=)
(")_(")
.....wobble zone....
jitter factor....
eeby jeeby area
they'll all do.....

I've had my X45 for a good while now, and apart from a few teething problems, it's been great. Good value for money. Go with Saitek my man
