Anyone know what i can do here?

Currently I'm living in halls at uni, at the minute my PC is just connected directly to the wall via an Ethernet cable, I want to add a 360 to this so i can get it connected on live..

I'm not too hot on networking, and don't have the 360 yet so i dont really know what's possible with the 360, but how would i go about getting it connected? Im guessing a router, but is there a cheaper or easier option? im not even sure if using a router will work with the uni setup

get another networking card, then either a rj45/crossover (not sure which) into there and from there connect it to the pc and share the connection
