Anyone playing Rainbow Six Vegas on Xbox 360?

I just got my copy today from Amazon and was wondering if anybody has played this and what they thought of it.

Loved the demo. I will be picking this up at some point. I did find the controls a bit fiddly at first though.

I got this game last week, took a while to suss the controls out.

Online play seems really good too (from the 30 minutes I have played)

Like everyone else though most of the time I get on the 360 seems to go to Gears of War at the mo

Yeah online is great for team survival.

There are quite a few glitches in the co-op online though, including the worst bug I've ever seen.

I couldn't complete a level because the door we needed to go through just had a sheer drop behind it. We started the level again and it was still there.

A bit laggy at times as well, needs a patch quick sharp.

I'm still getting used to it. I played it for a couple of hours on Saturday. I tried a bit of online play which is really great. I haven't seen which maps are available but I hope the old 'Garage' is still there (from Rainbow Six 3).

There appear to be some very neat touches. For example, you can hang upside down on a rope and fire into a room! When you walk into a barrel or box, it will actually fall over and give your position away. There is some overuse of 'foggy' and 'misty' effects that I don't really like. One other thing: if you kill one of the bad guys then you can pick up his weapon!

Like previous versions of this series, I think that online play is going to be the most rewarding.

Took me a while to get into it, but I'm starting to really enjoy it now. Not given the online stuff a look, tend to leave that until I've completed the singleplayer.

Only problem I've had so far is:

So me and the other guy had to go off and shoot up some terrorists without him.

It looks awesome. After my big selloff I've decided on buying an XBOX360. I've already bought Test Drive Unlimited and Project Gotham 3 comes with the bundle I'm getting off play.com.

I'm bidding on a copy of this on ebay at the moment. I'm not sure if I want this of Tony Hawk's Project 8 more, but we'll see what happens with ebay.

I can't wait! I should be ordering the 360 this weekend

you wont regret getting one...... seriously. I bought the 360 on a bit of an impulse having always been an avid PC gamer, and I havent touched my PC for gaming in the month I have had the 360!!! Gears of War is a definite must and Call of Duty 3 is good too online (although single player in my opinion isn't as great). I just need to buy another game as a Xmas present to myself Maybe RS:Vegas, although I think I have got enough shooters!! Anyone have any suggestions for good games which are out now or will be by Xmas??
