what the hell am i supposed to be looking at? thats nothing to bother putting up a picture for is it?

Shame the game looks poo still (and doesn't it just look the same if not better on the 360?)
i was thinking that it doesnt look much/any better than Most Wanted... Havent tried carbon, had a go on the psp version which was a pretty dismal experience tho!
oh and @wilksj01 1024 is much better than 1600, but it can still be beneficial to upload your image to somewhere like imageshack.us as they will generate a thumbnail which you can use on forums, and thus link to the larger (1600x1200) image
I am not really a big fan of racing games but was won over by Need for Speed most Wanted and so thought I would give it a try.
It's not the most educated of games as in GTR2 standards but for pure fun it can't be beaten and the graphics are amazing.
plz show example of amazing
"It's not the most educated of games as in GTR2 standards"
no. its pretty much the other end of the spectrum

I can see a big difference between the Xbox 360 and PC. Also wouldn't the comment "It's not the most educated of games as in GTR2 standards" and "for pure fun it can't be beaten" mean that I wasn't saying it was supposed to be a racing simulation.
What racing game that is available on both the Xbox and PC is graphically better than this in your opinion MadduckUK?

why does it need to be available on both? PGR3 murders this graphically and gameplay wise
was going to say that. but lack of pc stopped me FOR SOME REASON
not quite out for the PC yet. but TD:U certainly in its 360 guise is far superior

The graphics of - http://image.com.com/gamespot/images..._screen006.jpg
are still poor compared to the one I posted of that in NFSC. Look at the detail of the car and the light reflections. The car in PGR3 look almost toy.
That is the reason I have asked for games that are on both platform to compare.
Ok we could argue about this all night, but i think its best if you get your methadone first.

Why would I need to get methadone? So that it would help me subdue the narcotic pain experienced when reading post made by an idiot who seems to lack reasoning skills such as these graphics are better because..... rather than making a very poor attempt at a joke.
You may notice that I have chosen to compare actual in game shots for comparison rather than video shots as these do not give a true account of the in-game graphics.
In the two images I have posted there is clear differences in graphics quality between the Xbox PGR3 and PC NFSC in that the graphics have more realism to them.
Maybe before we continue this discussion you should go and get your glasses.
I have to disgree with the slating NFS : Carbon has been getting. Its a corking game, really good gameplay, stunning auto sculpt feature, enjoyable story etc.. Although I'm afraid pretty much all instances I've seen it on the PC have been dire ... . However PGR3 does look better then Need For Speed Carbon no doubt about that, perhaps the cars in PGR3 do look a little to shiny but none the less more effort has gone into them polygon count wise and overall then the need for speed carbon models... As for your comment about xbox 360 graphics I'd say they were better in most instances Unified Shader Architecture to thank for that. Nothing on PC beats the looks of gears of war for example...
