    Must Have PSP Games.

Having just finished a marathon 4 hour gitaroo man lives session, i was wondering if theres any other gems ive overlooked to brighten up my commute.

    My current games list is:
    Lego Starwars 2
    Both GTAs
    Lumines,
    Mercury
    RIdge Racer
    Pursuit Force
    Loco Roco.

Anyone played anything stunningly good? Ive had my eye on gradius, but 30 quid for an old genesis game seems a bit steep.

Tales of Eternia. Well, if you like RPGs, anyway.

Daxter if you enjoy some platforming action / have played Jak & Daxter.

Burnout is very good - it gets a bit hard in places and has a few bugs in it, but other than that it's very good.

    Also, Mercury

Hopefully I'm getting Virtua Tennis World Tour soon as well - looks brilliant.

    On my list:
    Tekken DR
    LocoRoco
    Lumines (maybe)
    Daxter
    NFS Most Wanted
    NFS Rivals

There's a few others I want, can't think of them now though

I only have 2 games for mine but find them really good :

    Medievil Ressurection
    Death Jr

Only thing that lets Death Jr down is the poor camera control when you have to use the scythe to jump across hooks. It can get a bit frustrating at times having to try loads of times to get to new areas. Medievil Ressurection is great. I loved the origional 2 games on the PS1 and the PSP game is a remake of the first one with updated graphics and a few level redesigns. Theres also a carnival in there which has loads of mini games, some good and some quite annoying. Well worth getting as it is only £20, I keep going back to it as I love the humour and the difficulty is set just right.

For Christmas my wife has bought me Outrun Coast to Coast and King Kong, both have above average reviews and they do look pretty good. Looking forward to having something different to play must admit!

    For me it's been;

    Loco Roco - Lovely game!
Pro Evo 5/6 - Waiting for 6 to arrive from Amazon, but the PSP was made for this game. I dont even like football that much but love Pro Evo.
Colin Mcrae Rally - Hard, ones for the petrol heads.
Syphon Filter: Dark Mirror - get this game!
Field Commander - Like advance wars on the DS, but less childish. Turnbased can be a bit slow at times though.

I was quite disappointed with Burnout Legends. The Battles are fun but the actually racing just was not as good as the PS2 version. Some of the CPU racers were a bit too fast and you just end up bouncing off the walls all the time to win - which for me is just not proper racing.

The others I have are already mentioned, but Wipeout Pure is very good as well =). I don't know how anyone can say there's no good games on the PSP, heads in the ground!

it's not so much about there being no good games - but there's a distinct lack of good *portable* games.

take wipeout pure as an example - get on the bus, pull out the psp, turn it on, and by the time it's actually loaded a race, you've arrived at your destination

lumines is the psp's "best" game, in that it offers a quick road towards a fun game
