    Xbox 360 racing games

ok, so im currently hammering out COD3 and PES6 on the xbox and really enjoying them, however i've got a craving for a racing game.

i've downloaded the PGR3 trial and NFS Carbon and have been very unimpressed, are there any other racing games out there that can wet my appetite

In my opinion there is a lack of racing games on the 360, we certainly need more. Or maybe it's just me, racing games are my favourite genre.

A lot of people enjoy Burnout Revenge, I've not played it yet but hope to be recieving a free copy soon after my brother purchased the Pioneer 360 system.

The only racing game on the 360 that I would give 10/10 is PGR3, I just hammered that game for months on end. Other than that, keep an eye out for Forza Motorsport 2 next year as I believe that will raise the benchmark as the best racer on the 360.

Did you get Platinum Champion on Gotham? Took me ages!

Lots of value PGR3 if you like to complete your games.

Sure did! Took me...*goes to check*...just under 5 months! Oh those cone challenges took some doing.

I managed every achievement on PGR3 bar the Tournament Qualifier, that is incredibly tough. Every tournament I've attempted to qualify for I've been a good 3-4 seconds off qualification pace.

Johnny, if you're a racing buff like I am, you might want to consider the Wireless Force Feedback Racing Wheel, it comes bundled with PGR3.

If you head to LX Direct: http://www.lxdirect.com/rf/navigatio...duct=359725155

First enter code: XX494 for 10% off, then enter code: ZQ4322 for the £25 off. You should then be able to get the wheel for £50.50!

I'm not entirely sure if the voucher codes are still applicable, but worth a try if you're interested.

Burnout revenge is indeed a good game.

More crashing than racing, but you end up crashing in every race game, so what's the harm in them just looking awesome for once?

Burnout Revenge and Porche Unleashed are both good esp with Live. Have PGR3 just find it too similar to PGR2....

Ridge Racer was ok, although I found online extremely choppy. It's more arcadey than PGR (although PGR ran perfectly online), but so far I prefer Burnout Revenge as my racer of choice (of the 3 I've got)
