Lightbulb 10 top tips for your Xbox 360

With so many new Xbox 360 owners this Christmas, I've done a little write up of some of the console's features. Feel free to have a read here: http://www.xboxic.com/news/2169

    Hope you find them useful!

I'd argue with you on number ten!

Surely it's more useful to have Media Connect, the free download, that let's you connect and stream pictures and music from any Windows XP machine?

After all, there's loads more Xbox 360 users who have XP than MCE...

Otherwise, and that that little argument set to bubble, nice article...

That's a good point Nick! Truth be told, I got to #8 and then started to struggle for some really good tips.

The whole idea came to me 2-3 weeks ago when I was playing Gears with some random guys online and two of them weren't aware they could turn their 360 on via the guide button. Figured I'd get a few tips posted up for all the new Christmas owners and post it on Boxind Day.

Nice. You might want to consider mentioning the desktop charger, which tbh is much better than the play and charge kit and you still get a spare battery!

The Quick Charge Kit? I thought about getting one of those myself but thought, you can't recharge whilst you're playing with that. That's gotta be a bit of a disadvantage?

Well I'm not sure how many people have their Xbox near their TV....say 99%. Now, say your battery is low, are you gonna get off your couch and go 'lead length' to play while charging?

As for charging, I tend to keep mine in the charger at most times, and if I find a controller to complain, I can swap to the other one.

Usually ppl will have 2 wireless controilers and the charger gives you another free bat, so you can always have one 'charging'

HDMI is pretty much the same as DVI (and correct me if I am wrong pls) carries audio as well. If you don't have HDMI, component is far superior to composite.
