    Caved and bought a DS

    Couldn't resist any longer.

Went for Gamestations £159 for a DS and three games. Got Tetris, Sonic Rush and New Super Mario Brothers.

Very impressed with it to be honest. Shame it has a proprietary power cable, this could easily be charged via USB or a standard 5v plug i have from my Archos and others.

The black is nice too. I will need to get a decent case for it though. Any recomendations? I'll be taking this offshore in the new year and it'll just be being straight into my kit bag.

I bought a PDAir Leather case for mine off ebay although I can't seem to find anyone listing it. It fits perfectly and stores about 6 games. Pictures can be found here.

I think mobilefun sell it although they charge a fair bit more than what I got it for.

Yeah the black is nice, I have one, but it shows the dab marks a lot thats the only thing with it. BTW I had the starterpack from game station for £9.99. Includes, screen wipe, Screen protectors, 3 styluses and a protective pouch thing. The pouch only holds the DS though unlike the one posted by Nfil which holds games as well.

Couldn't find a bigger image than this one:

I got the starter pack from Gamestation as well. The pouch is pretty rubbish though. Looks like it is made for the DS instead of the DS Lite.

I'll have a look in town next time i'm in for a case etc. i'm sure somewhere like HMV etc will have one, just not bothered looking yet.

Not a surprise you can get the charging cables on eBay Agent. Yeah, providing i can make it to MK i think a couple of games is in order
