WOW - Burning Crusade special launch in London

World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade HMV Oxford Street Launch

Location: HMV, 150 Oxford Street, London, W1D 1DJ

    Doors Open: 11:00pm

    Game On Sale: 12:00am

From 11:00pm on January 15th 2007, HMV Oxford Street will be opening its doors in anticipation of the midnight launch of The Burning Crusade expansion.

Attending players will have the opportunity to have their games signed by World of Warcraft game designer Jon LeCraft, and Blizzard Vice President of Business Development, Itzik Ben Bassat. While stocks last, they will also have the option to purchase the highly limited Collector’s Edition of The Burning Crusade (including the game, a making-of DVD, a hardcover art book, an exclusive in-game netherwhelp pet, two World of Warcraft Trading Card Game card packs and three exclusive cards, a map of Outland mousepad, and a soundtrack audio CD).

Players who attend in World of Warcraft costume, along with the first members of the public through the doors on the evening, will be eligible to register for a special in-game baby Murloc pet. Costumed players will receive preferential treatment in relation to the Collector’s Edition stock. Exclusive World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade T-shirts will also be available.

The collectors edition is worth a bomb on ebay currently, shop I work in is getting a couple, and im at work this afternoon so might get a delivery , might get one as a personal favour to a mate though (dont play the game, but I fancy getting someone off my courses right leg for it hehe)

    lol at the costumes

as for the t-shirts......its promo stuff that they normally give to staff to advertise it, but I think everyone who plays WoW would know about it being out on tuesday

How much are the subs currently for WoW. I heard that they had come down considerably but can't find anything that actually backs that up on the WoW website.

I have been thinking on taking the plunge with it but unsure because of the subs.

Gonna have to wait untill 9am down here Left it too late to pre-order so I'll be standing outside the shop at opening time
I don't mean to sound cold, or cruel, or vicious, but I am so that's the way it comes out.

Sure is funny that they're forcing people to wear wow costumes in order to get the collector's edition. I wish I could go just to see the people that are gonna turn up in costume, lol.
