    Vice city multiplayer (MTA) servers

    Hello all.

If you have Vice city installed on your computer there is a multiplayer patch that you can download. go to www.mtavc.com (there is also a GTA3 patch.)

e-frag servers have downloaded and installed this to there servers. (www.e-frag.co.uk)

They have kindly set-up these servers for MTA:
    213.228.215.3
    213.228.215.80
    213.228.215.81
    213.228.215.82
    213.228.215.83

Once you have downloaded, and installed MTA:VC use the client to connect to one of these servers, using port 2003. The servers can also be seen through 'All seeing eye.'

There are two different types of servers:
    1. Normal - death match against everyone else on the map.
    2. Stunt - get a bike, or fast car and hit jumps to get money.

    Please visit some time soon

    Will

MTA:VC is cool, there just doesnt seem to be any skill involves with killing/killing anyone, tho its great fun to try maybe they should try to implement some kind of prediction somehow - no idea how it works anyway with the server being like 100k?

We tried it 3 played a while back. Basically it is too buggy to even consider playing. You stand there and shoot someone 500 times and they are fine, they shoot you once and you die, or you run someone over, yet for them, you didn't got anywhere near them. Basically its not like you are even in the same game.

I think the server runs thru co-ordinates. It tells someone where they are via a co-ordinate and then has a small bit of code telling the server how someone can die.

I think it is pretty basic, but with some work it could be a very good server.
