Wii madness is there a cure

Okay a little bit of background. I take my computing pretty seriously my 10yr old daughter has an AMD x2 3800(X800XT 1GB OCZ Gold)rig for her homework, the family rig is an AMD x2 4400(X1800XL 1GB OCZ Platinum) and my own as in my system. They have an XBox and for Christmas the kids had a 360 and with live I thought that will keep them amused. But no my wife(33) decided she wanted a Wii for Christmas. Fair enough anything to keep her out of my hair. It has just arrived the family has gone mad thousands of pounds worth of kit is lying idle my 42" plasma screen has been comandeered nobody eats or sleeps and homework is being neglected. The cheers from the 7.1 sound system have the neighbours wondering whats going on and they come round and wont leave. I am suffering badly and at 48 I am no spring chicken. Couple of comps to repair and they have been filed under later.
Is there a cure, rehab or something there must be a way out of this madness. Does anybody know if there are therapy groups. Any suggestions? I must go my turn to box. Help!!!

Find your fuse box and pull all the fuses to the sockets in the rooms where the computers/consoles are and problem solved

I used to be the same, get in from work - not even consider cooking or doing any laundry and whack the PC from standby so I could play CS:S or any other game for a few hours each and every night.

Now - fast forwards 6 months and now I play the occasional game every now and again as well as on the xbox360 but it seems to have all settled down on it's own and I'm no longer up till the middle hours of the wee morning grinding in WoW or another MMORPG

I only came off it to write this. I cant think of anything so addictive. Not since space invaders or the first Doom.

I have a feeling ill be going down the same road to be honest.

Mine only arrived today, popped home on my lunch break to install it. Had a quick go on bowling and that was it, I was hooked. Got back to work 15 minutes late and a very angry look from the boss...

Ah well, its all fun and games
