There really is no contest. Football manager is the best series out there.
Although EIDOS got to keep the championship manager game they didnt keep the engine and database that was kept by sigames who make football manager now.
Its far too addictive and has taken up huge parts of my life![]()
i love it, can't be be beaten in my eyes
bit of a relationship wrecker though at times
i have tendency to think about summer signings and goings at work to detriment of my actual job
oh well
Before football manager 2005 came out they had a countdown timers on the website that say
x day x hours x minutes x seconds until you dont see you girlfriend again
I bought a laptop specifically to play the new version. Now I can play at work and when i`m with the missus![]()
fm2007, I've been addicted since it arrived a few days before Xmas.
Fan-tasi-dosi!

FM2007 dont even think about Champ manager anymore, they went downhill years ago! When SI left Champ......
Nah you want Champ Man 2001/2 season
/me goes back to living back then when Saints were in the premiership![]()
alternatively known as "when Le Tissier was in the premiership"

i guess FM2007 is the obvious choice then
nah...no need for 2001/02...a good season or 2 could get the foxes back into the premiership![]()
its not just the obvious choice, its pretty much the only choice. after youv played it everything else will seem pathetic

Ben Sahar one the chelsea reserve team is an awesome striker as well
also if you want a good investment sign marcelo - he's a brazillian left back, let him develop for a season and you'll have all the top clubs bidding for him![]()

Gago and Higuain are good (both singed for Real Madrid in real life recently). Other good players are: Jo, Gareth Bale, Maxi Morales, Augusto Férnandez, Lavezzi and Zárate.
Most of these are Argentinians, so work permits area a problem!
