    Question - can two people play WOW through the same router?

    Just wondering... as i've got port 3724 forwarded to a single LAN IP - so is it (in any way) possible?

    Two PCs, different LAN IPs, same gateway, same WAN IP..

    The obvious solution would be to allow me to change the games port..

    Me and my bro have played online games for years through the same router. MMOs and FPS.

    Never had any problems.

    Really? Never tried it before myself! So you don't even have to configure the router?

    I can't get CoD2 or HL2: Deathmatch to work at all online with my housemate. We can play on different servers, but if we try to play on the same one, we both get disconnected : /

    you need to change port in steam for hl2 im not sure of the command off top of my head but could look in to it

    Using a Belkin router here and have 2 comps running wow at the same time no problem. No port forwarding or any other messing about was needed.

    As long as you are playing on different accounts it doesnt matter.. you can play 2 accounts from one pc if you wish

    Provided the firewall in your router has SPI there's no reason whatsoever that you couldn't have 200 people playing WoW through it. Other than the horrible lag.
