Still play it alot (well mod it more than actually play it, but anyway). Whilst I agree it doesn't draw you in quite the same way Morrowind did (in main due to the fact that many of MW's landscapes were a lot more alien and less real worldy), it's still a good game.
Also considering most SP games give you 10 hours gameplay at a push Oblivion is great value in that respect (though MP obviously lengthens the playability of some games, you could say mods do the same for Oblivion)

i'm still playing oblivion now and again...
got about 80 hours on it so far i think...
Tis a great game and on the value for money stakes is far better than 95% of recent games.. (bah strategy of course, dread to think how long i played games like civ II for... :) )

sounds like you all have oblivion fever.
P.S whats the most gold you have ever had?

Gold? Callipers are the real currency :p

Sort of agree, it got a lot better once the levelling mods came out.
I played for ages and just got bored with the fact that you can't be "God" as it were - ie being able to have total power over pretty much any monster. It's good in some ways, still being challenged once you're a stupidly high level, but in other ways i find myself wondering "What was the point? - i spent all that gold on a more powerful spell to kill the ugly gremlin, but by the time i could use it, the gremlin was still just as powerful (relative to me) so i have to buy another expensive spell to kill him.. and so on, etc."
It is a damn good game once you have a mod to sort that out. Especially the Dark Brotherhood :D
So.. good, but not as good as Morrowind - that game took my life over..
