    New Zelda

Is there anyone here who has tried the new Zelda - Twilight Princess?

I'm anxious to get it, but just wondered if anyone had any experience would be fun to know

I like it (I've got the Wii version).

The GC version is mirrored (and lacks widescreen) I don't think there is any other difference between the two (except for the control scheme with the wiimote obviously).

Can't say much about it without spoiling the story. I've just completed the desert dungeon which is approx. half way through (at least I think it's about halfway through).

If you've enjoyed the previous zelda games, you'll enjoy this one too.

Aye, can only agree with the above.
More of the same really, if you're a Zelda fan you won't be disappointed.

Doesn't seem to be overly easy too, which is nice.

Still playing through TP on the Wii at the moment and am enjoying it quite a lot, as its always great to be playing a Zelda game. I do have to say that I dont think that its as good as either Link to the Past or Ocarina of time, but probably because both of those were more 'standard' storylines and also because for their time, they were quite ahead of their time. Still, I'm not saying its rubbish - think of it as the least brilliant of a REALLY brilliant bunch. Any Zelda fan just has to play it though - Gameplay wise its much of the same, but I'd have to disagree with Bertie, I think that its actually easier than say OoT. But its just so beautiful (artistically) to look at, you just cant turn it down if you are vauguely a Zelda fan. Go get it. Now!

I may be wrong on the difficulty thing, I may be out of the loop on these things, but it's not as easy as I thought it would be.

I definitely would say it's not as good as OoT and personally I preferred Wind Waker (fantastic game and beautifully made despite what many others may say).

I agree with you in that TP does feel a little behind the times if that's what you're getting at.

Its definatley not easy, but who wants easy games? Wind Waker was awsome, but the need to sail for christ knows how far constantly killed it for me. Twighlight Princess despite a few minor niggles is still and AMAZING game.

First Zelda game I have played and althought I thought the graphics were slightly 'dissapointing' it does not really detract from the beautifully scripted story and the fantastic control system. Go buy it........ Oh and download bomberman 93 too
