GoW finished: What do i do next?

    Hey all,

Just finished GoW about 20 mins ago feeling slightly deflated.

SO the question is, what do I do now? Ive enjoyed playing it for an hour or so each night over the last fortnight, and now im left with a big hole in my gaming nights. Does anyone recommend any other games I can get? Im quite interested in the like of lost planet and CoD3.

    Any suggestions welcome!

    Play it through on insane

I thought it was an abrupt end aswel. The game is so good it leaves you wanting more.

Call of duty 3 is great as is Rainbow 6 Vegas. Lost planet is an 8/10 out of ten job so only if you really like the look of it (try the demo?)

I think that GoW is quite unique though, I dont like FPS on consoles as I find it hard to get to grips with, whereas in gears of war its more a third person shooter combined with first person.

I might try R6 Vegas (I think PC world have 2 for £60 atm)

    Cheers

@chriswood - I'm not being funny but could you hide who the last boss is please. Thats something of a large spoiler to give out. I haven't played the game yet but I now know who the last boss is. So could you hide it out or at least state that theres a big spoiler so that others don't get caught.

I've edited it out - but yeah, don't read GoW threads if you don't want GoW spoilers.

How short is the single player on this game? Not a long game is it?

    Sorry Dorza,

The game lasts about 10 or 11 hours, although im sure on insane it will be 3 or 4 times that. There was a few times when I got frustrated with some parts, which took me 4 or 5 times to do.

I think ill hold on to it, and try multiplayer maybe. I aint got Gold membership, might have to get it now

Does anyone have lost planet? Im tempted to go get a game at some point today,

Yeah, it's very good single player, but not very long. You'll probably complete it in 8 hours. It's not worth it for multi-player.

It lasted me about ten hours on casual and I have played it through a few more times since. Its seems as though its over too soon though, probably because of the abrupt ending (just like HL2).

I completed GOW on casual within 24 hours of getting the game...

It took maybe 3-4 times that to do it in hardcore-co-op and im still plugging away at it in Insane mode...

Plus the multi-player action is always a blast... still the most played game on my '360

I've only completed it the once (on Insane Co-op) took about a week playing it through with one of my mates, got all the SP achievements in one game . Now I just need the multi-player ones which is going to take longer I reckon.

Aye I've been playing it through very slowly (just done Act 4). I like to mix it up with other games so my attention span (of a small child) doesn't waver too much. I look forward to playing every time tho!

Rainbow 6: Las Vegas is a great game and well worth a look. CoD 3 is ok, but not amazing. Viva had me entertained for a while but then I got bored.

gtg - gotta level up from Level 14 on Oblivion (also playing very slowly )
