Using the trader mod at the moment - I find it unbalances the game a little as its simple to kit yourself out with the best kit and dominate all that pass! I'll try that weight mod tonight, looks good.

@toolsong - man, that mod pretty much covers all bases!

Yeah you need to be playing on at least hard mode for it to be any fun with the trader/weight mods. Otherwise you're just a walking tank.

I'm playing through the strelok storyline now(bugged out on me last time) on hard. Much fun.

I cant follow the GSC link thereon in (work firewall it under extreme and sex?!) but we may get the second patch later today/tomorrow. That would be nice. The disappearing corpses are starting to get on my nerves a little

I agree, though as you would expect this news didn't stop the little bitches on the GSC and Stalker-Value5games crying and whining - creating on-line petitions, 'im gonna sue GSC/THQ/Old McDonald for not patching my game fast enough'

Yup - I found pretty much all of the endings a little obscure really. The real but 'false' ending was probably my favourite, at least I kind of understood what was going on. The real 'real' ending took me a few minutes to figure out what he was shootin' at in the end game.

I'm still enjoying the game though, still playing, going through the Duty and Freedom quests this time with all the above mods that we've been talking about. Great fun, and it still sh1ts me up when I get Bloodsuckered from behind in a moon lit deserted village. Good stuff.

Implying it was broken? Ran ok for me once I got a manual fix in place for the surround sound issue. But you're right, there are still outstanding proiblems that need to be addressed, I don't include Vista support as they never said that they would.
