Blah are good, based in Jersey so no tax, hence they are cheap, and postage is free. Just dont expect it next day, usually takes a few days.

@smokey demo is not very good compared to the game ai is i a bit stupid and the skirmish map is one of the worst

Well I don't know it all (can you tell!?) but you've got no chance on a 9800pro.

Again, based on my testing, the demo at least doesn't - 200 odd unit skirmish and total RAM usage including junk was around 600mb (under XP). I didn't think Vista would be so much of a draw to take it over the 1gb mark. Maybe the full game uses more.

Factors to consider:
-Skirmish map is tiny
-200 units is not very many
-Vista is more of a resource hog

Id say you need 2GB ram, infact serious gamers should really all have 2GB ram.

Got mine this morning. Only had a go at a skirmish or 2, but can already see that is the same as TA, but much better Also had a go at the dual monitor setup to see how it looked. It's a good idea, but couldn't quite get used to it, mainly because I am so used to edge-of-screen scrolling. My computer couldn't quite handle it towards the end of the skirmish either, so will resort back to one monitor until I upgrade.

My tech-tree pullout is also in French!

Yeah the demo occasionally got jerky on my PC and thats 2gib ram and x1900xtx.

It's playable at medium settings with 1GB of RAM. I've just done a new build and are waiting for my RAM otherwise i'd have 2. My athlon and 2gig was far faster than my C2D and 1gig thats for sure.
