sup comm has arrived

just thoguht i'd post here saying my sup comm cybran pack has arrived one day early from play.com so am well pleased sweet game

although one small issue with my bonus material the tech tree and universe map is in french everything else is in english anyone else got the cybran pack yet and with same issue

BTW, if I can hijack this thread, I've got my copy as well. I'm playing the Earth campaign, but during the second mission I have to escort some units from the base on the right of the map to other side of the map. However, when I move some units there ready to escort some vans or whatever, and..nothing happens!

My son's at home playing right now - not sure how, as he went to bed at 5am playing CS:S all night.
The Aeon tech poster is also in French - what a mess up!
Unsurprisngly the report is that the full game plays as well as the demo in campaign mode.
He said something about he was just going to watch a heavy artillery piece blow up in movie mode - little git is getting me all excited with anticipation
Shan't be lingering at work at all today. What I'm doing on my day off tomorrow is truly sorted!

you need to make sure you have tanks and gunships and go to the base at bottom left and head them up to the baser you defended

oh yeah news all uef campaign has a whole 6 missions to it played at +3 speed earlier and did the uef campaign in 4-5 hours

got my cybran pack from play today Tech tree is also in french though..so I called THQ who have taken my name/address and promise to send me out an english one ASAP Apparently its a widespread problem..

Loving the game though - and FINALLY an RTS that takes advantage of dual monitors..it takes some getting used to at first ( I would have liked some more customisation for the second monitor, eg to be able to use it as a mini map ) but it works great as it is really..I can keep one monitor focused on the action where i'm fighting, and keep the other on my base so I can quickly build re-enforcements etc...I've not tried multiplayer yet (have to do *some* uni work today) but when I do I imagine it will come into its own then..fighting on multiple fronts while being able to see the action on both fronts at the same time.

The only issue is with performance..it is 100% playable and isn't that bad, considering ive got both monitors enabled, at medium settings, at 1280x1024...but I think I will replace my X800 with a newer card when I get paid.

edit: oh and don't be put off by the short campaigns..there may only be 6 missions but each one is really 3 or 4 missions (going from the first couple anyway)..and they can take a while
