    Alan wake for Xbox only?

Was just wondering if anyone knew what was happening with the title?

Read a couple of weeks ago on one of the 360 sites that Microsoft had bought the company developing Alan Wake and were now planning to bring it out as a 360 exclusive!

Has anyone else heard about this. I certainly hope its not the case, because this is the sort of game I like playing on the PC as opposed to the 360, and was also going to be one of the first to take advanatage of DX10.

I believe Alan Wake is exclusive to Xbox 360 and PC.

In fact, a small amount of research reveals that if you go to www.alanwake.com it says 'Exclusive for Windows Vista and Xbox 360' at the bottom of the page.

Yeah, I seen it said that on the website, but the 360 website reported differently. found the link

    http://www.oxm.co.uk/articles/news/h..._360_exclusive

Maybe i've read it wrong and they are just referring to the fact that it won't appear on PS3.

OXM are usually on the ball, so I was a wee bit worried!

reading it again, I've seen they have updated the story stating "(and vista pcs)" but it hadn't stated that before, honest!

I'm pretty sure Alan Wake is the title Microsoft wants to use to push DX10 so they'll never drop it for PC, plus the development has been going for months already so it'd be money down the drain. If it doesn't appear for PC I'll eat my trainers.

Yeah, Alan Wake is console exclusive to Xbox 360 though a PC version makes sense with most Xbox 360 titles due to Microsoft's nifty development tools that make the 2 platforms easilly interpretable, which is something that Sony obviously didnt think about as it's nigh on impossible to port titles from PS3 and difficult to port titles to it, genius, pure genius!
