is it me, but i find the controls a real shamble it totally seems luck if i get into a vehicle cant for the life of me figure out how to change weaps and i tried flying and with in 2 secs i was upside lol, i guess the flying part will come with practice, but the strive for realism seems to come at a cost.
On the forums ive read ppl are saying its not like bf2 blah blah but changing weaps and getting into vehicles should be just intuitative.
also ill be looking at someone or something and it just dissappears and im just sat there thinking where the hell did he go or where did building go or tank lol it really is a shambles.

dreaming i dont have ati control panel installed just the basic driver, so i might give that a try thanks

Changing weapon is slightly unintuitive. Press 'F' to change weapon modes, or press the mouse wheel in to bring up the context menu, where you can scroll to select things. If you don't have a scroll wheel you can use '[', ']' and Enter to select.

Have to say, flying a chopper was impossible before I forced the vsync off. Now though, I'm pro . Only problem is it's tricky targetting units.

This isn't the sequel to OFP officially anyway, it's the evolution of it. Game 2 is supposed to be the all encompassing sequel, this is a stop gap if you will. Wonder why they've taken so long though. Anyone with an ATI card not forcing the vsync off will have major issues imo, for me if I tapped 'W' to go forward it would lurch forward several meters, just aiming my gun was impossible.

well, i'm glas i'm not the only one not able to fly the helicopters in this game.

It is so hard, doesn't feel natural at all!

Other than that, i'm quite enjoying this so far. It is kinda unpolished, but that will come over time. It's like a "fixer-up-er", but I like that about it. just shows that there is better things to come, if your patient!

You could argue that games shouldn't be sold like that, and you'd be right, but it is still worth a look!

What kind of a rig do you need to run this at high settings with good fps?

I hear it can bring a PC to its kness when there's a full-scale battle going on.
