could be a cache issue. The one for 'hexus' in that pic is out of date too.

The link to my localhost website that I'm working on somehow nicked the bit-tech favicon. Easy to get rid in my case but why does it do this?

Can anyone recommend a simple-to-use screenshot facility that lets me draw a rectangle and only capture what's inside?

My PrtSc doesn't seem to let me do that, though I might just be doing something wrong.

    Thanks!

Do a normal prntscrn and drop the image into Paint, then draw a rectangle, cut and paste into a new image?

Thanks, whiternoise and flcher, I feel spoiled for choice...

I just downloaded and installed FastStone, vinny, it seems to work fine!

What are the advantages of IrfanView? Should I look at that too?

You should look at the GIMP - very powerful, free, and can also do screenshots quite easily, then crop them with much ease. It basically is photoshop but free.

Yup - it may not be the easiest tool to use if you want to do more advanced things, but for things such as cropping its a doddle.
