I got informed by marketing in my company that there are new regulations for e-mails originating from company e-mail addresses. Apparently, they have to contain your full contact details, the company and the company's registered number.
Does anybody have more details on this?
We've been asked to update our e-mail signatures immediately.
It's part of the companies act that was passed on 2nd January 2007

also means that every company needs to have company details on their website somewhere (hehehe lots of support work for me!)

Came into force on 1st January from what I recall. Not sure about the full contact details, but they must have your company registered address and company number on.

bugger. i knew there was something i needed to do in the office tomorrow. Need to go through our database and make sure all our reports that get sent out have these details. Guess i need to change my email sig as well.
