    Train Crash in Cumbria.

    Breaking News.

    The train was the 1715 GMT Virgin Train from London's Euston Station to Glasgow.

    Witnesses said the train derailed before sliding down an embankment.

    They now say it was the 1715 - the article has been updated.

    "Where I am there are some injuries - a woman with a very badly hurt back but I suspect further up the train it's a bit more serious.

    "There's some carriages stuck up in the air and some are just lying on their sides. We all had to climb out the top of one of ours".

    One would expect that if the carriages have been thrown around. It would be much more than a minor miracle if there were no major injuries.
