    The Oscars

Anyone staying up to watch them?

I used to think that I didn't care, but my wife is obsessive about them and I've caught the bug. She's at my in laws watching the build up on their fully subscribed cable right now. I thought that I'd have tomorrow off, but due to an unfortunately placed discontinuity in the rota I've got a bus to drive tomorrow morning so I have to be in bed shortly. Gutted TBH.

I haven't seen any of the films that have been nominated, but then I rarely do, I just love the show. Dame Helen is apparently a raging certainty, but fingers crossed for Peter O'Toole, eh? You never know.

If you're watching, lucky you, post your thoughts here. I'll have a shufty tomorrow before work.

I decided to try watching them.

I've been suffering from insomnia and needed something to knock me out.

Seriously though, I'd rather have root canal surgery. Well, almost. So that's a "no" from me.

    I'm watching them.

Mostly cause I've seen all but Letters from best motion picture, and for the first time I've liked them all!

Not watching them myself, but glad to see on imdb that An Inconvenient Truth just won, Forest Whitaker is pretty much a sure thing isn't he. The only one i want to win is Michael Arndt for Best Screenplay with Little Miss Sunshine, because it's really well written especially the Dwayne scene. although i haven't seen any of the other films.
